CNC Operator
This job would require an employee to run a CNC machine safely and efficiently. They would load parts into the chucks on the machine, check to make sure it is in properly. Many parts require a stop in the middle of the program that you will have to take the part out and flip it over to run the second side. They would then take out the finished part and immediately start a new one. While the new part is running, they will be required to use dial calipers and drawings to make sure that every measurement is within spec. They are also to check all hydraulic and cutting oils and refill them as needed.
CNC Programmer
Experience preferred. Candidates should have a good understanding of programming CNC’s. Many of our CNC’s run a variety of parts and need programming changes throughout the day. Timely changeover and programming is part of our key to success.
Robotics Operators
This job would require an employee to load and offload parts to the robotic stations safely and efficiently. Including checking and maintaining machines that are operated by robots. Operators are taught basic programming to reset robots when needed. Additionally, they will be required to use dial calipers and drawings to make sure that every measurement is within spec.
Automatic Operator
Working quickly and running parts correctly is what this job entails. Operators must be able to learn how to use dial calipers and read a drawing. The operator would be responsible for checking the hydraulic oil and coolant levels in the machines. The machine will produce a part between every 18-63 seconds. The operator will clean the part and use a deburring tool to remove any burrs. They will visually look over every part and use any go and no-go gauges depending on the part being run. They will use dial calipers to measure every fourth or fifth part and ensure it matches the drawing.
Threads Operator
This is a job for someone who works well with their hands. This employee would be putting the threads onto the parts. They would place a part in a machine and start the machine. When the part is finished, they remove the part and prepare the machine for the next part. Once the machine is reloaded and running the operator will remove any burrs on the just made part with the provided hand tools. Also, operators check every third or fourth part to make sure they are within spec.
Assembly
This person should be able to work quickly and have an eye for detail. They must work well with other employees and be organized. They must be able to keep the different sizes separate and keep track of what they have done on a timesheet. Employees will be responsible for measuring every part, assembling the components, and checking for quality.
Shipping
When boxing shipping staff will have to be able to read the order to find the information to write onto the boxes. The box then will need assembled. The parts will be placed into a box along with any expansion rings that may go with it. Once boxes are checked for completeness staff seal them and move the boxes for final shipping process which entails verifying the shipping orders, skidding, and wrapping. This would be an area we would want someone who can work fast, but not make mistakes.
Hard Coat
This is a job for a team player who can work quickly but safely. You must be able to use dial calipers to keep the parts separated. Operators will then prepare parts for finishing by putting them on racks. Operator will the place racked parts in the tanks utilizing a PLC. Or if finishing on the hand line the employee should be able to lift the racks of parts in and out of the tanks. Once the parts have ran thru the tanks, they are processed thru a dryer. Once parts are finished they are separated by size, thread, and style and sent to assembly.
